Contruction Cost Review / Audit
Construction Documents -
Provide pre-construction assistance with industry standard construction
documents that accommodate the Owners internal requirements
and reporting processes to maximize Owners cost savings.
Reviews - Review
construction cost details furnished by General Contractors in support
of subcontractor charges, material and equipment purchases and payroll/burden
costs.
Change Orders - Determine
that change orders are appropriately justified, authorized, and
supported by required documentation. Trace Owner changes to change
orders paid by the General Contractor to subcontractors.
Liquidated Damages - Conduct
final assessment of liquidated damages (if applicable).
Expert Witness - Provide
expert witness testimony in construction arbitrations, mediations
and litigation.
Claims Review - Provide
Owners with claim review services relating to allowable costs
submitted on construction claims and backup for negotiations.
Close-out Documents - Verify
that close-out documents are complete, accurate and include appropriate
warranties.
Final Amounts Due on Contracts -
Determine if payments are made in accordance
with the Owners contract and, when applicable, that all savings
are appropriately returned to the Owner.
Audits - Once
our cost reviews are complete, a report is prepared for the Owner
that identifies audit steps, scope of review, findings and recommendations.
